The St Thomas Neighbourhood Pod are currently walking the pavements of the Merrivale Road estate, knocking on doors and talking to residents about the Cowick Barton Playing fields.

They're looking to form a residents Pod made up of people of who live on the Merrivale Road estate with a view to exploring their connection with Cowick Barton Playing fields using the famous Oak as a project focus.

For instance, did you know that Oak Road is built over a field that used to be known as Lower Oak Meadow?
